Play about Julia de Burgos to be published this Spring

 

 

We are pleased to announce that Carmen Rivera,

OBIE Award winning playwright and author, has

joined Red Sugarcane Press.

 

Ms. Rivera's play, Julia de Burgos: Child of Water

will be published in the Spring (2014). 

 

Julia de Burgos (February 17, 1914 - July 6, 1953)

was one of Puerto Rico's most influential poets. 

The play is being published in time to celebrate the

centennial anniversary of her birth. Advance copies
