In "La caída de Trujillo", playwright Carmen Rivera opens a window to the complex psyche of Rafael Trujillo Molina, the controversial ruler of the Dominican Republic for more than 30 years and terrorized a nation. The play, based on historical facts, tells a story of a man who struggles with his best and worst instincts; but inevitably succumbs to the seduction of power and corruption.
